Story Of Badger

Around this time(a month before the election is how I remember it) I had gotten an urge to play on a server. I went to google and got nothing really. I joined a server with a parkour promising a rank if you beat it and surprisingly minato2121, and on a lesser note sonicspeed2000 was there. Well the stupid mod didn't know how to promote someone minato got mad and left then I beat it, didn't get it and i left because there was nothing there for me. Then shortly afterward I went on youtube and seen pickerbennys youtube video. Sure enough I typed in the IP and I seen it light up with (something like) "GO OBAMA". I logged on went through the spawn which had a redstone metal detector or something, if it lit up you could go through but it didn't matter. I seen another person I met on the shitty server sonicspeed2000 and he said I could stay with him. Then it wasn't any time at all "Welcome blingaaron to the server!" I'm not too sure when I met minato back on brocraft after the shit server it was more than likely the same day I logged on. He wasn't builder yet. Sonic never really did get on so foreget him I started to do things on my own. Back in this time asmith (like the only admin) had the best shop around because he could hold shift and spawn stuff so starting with 4000 I bought full diamond armor for like 300, and tools and weapons for about 400(maybe). And let me tell you what, for the first few days all I did was log on and kill mobs because a creeper BOOM 63 dollars, skeleton around 30, zombie like 30 too, spider around 20, enderman 59. I bought a plot in a few days(it was a smallish rectangular plot) and picker was on and actually made it for me to start off with. I kept the design of it throughout my days on THAT map I eventually changed the material, had a complete farm and everything I made. To explain more about the server, I would be talking shit but I will anyways. Only 12 player slots, Mod(maybe)+ could get on when it was full. Let me tell you, it was ALWAYS full, I would set and rapidly refresh the page and wait till it was 11/12 and I think other people would because you had to be fast! Getting staff help was nearly impossible, there was just picker who actually knew how to do stuff really. Asmith and navy could kind of help out, but not really. The mods were worth as much as a bottle of piss with no power and was hardly on just enough to catch spammers after about 10minutes because the staff would log on and log immediately off -_- yea. Not to mention the very common awful connection speeds and downtime, that shit would crash like every 2hours! I warned myself about this part but I will stop. I remember some players who aren't with us today, in fact this project called emerald city i called the "Littlered era" because that was about the time she stopped playing. Emerald city was a fucktrain of bad regioning and stealing, avoided that shit hole. Fast forward a little bit, I was promoted builder kind of randomly shortly after I had the "I gave diamond rank". I quit trying to make people mad, didn't steal their stuff, I tried to get more involved with stuff and help new players whenever I could. Its not a minigame server with over 1,500 people on it but they lack the need of humans to interact and feel welcomed, at brocraft I felt like it was actually something "to do"(Hard to explain) Picking back up when I was promoted to builder, nothing much changed for a while, lack of staff, same old same old. I made some friends, I guess. When I was a good time into builder, this is when the big cheese came on the server and I can remember it pretty clearly. I "WELCOME! Cheesy_Jr" and went to spawn and seen his skin, and said "HAA your skin even looks cheesy!" From there I think I kinda talked to cheesy I remember calling him "cheeseburger" and kinda nick naming him that. maybe he can tell you more about that time era. It gets hard to remember all this stuff so excuse me, fast forwarding(not long at all) to when I was promoted to Mod . picker,navy, asmith(for some time) was on and they had said pretty much "you know, its time for a builder to step up". The previous few mods were pencil dick fagget failures that got the boot. They logged off, came back on and told me(I think and pretty much) "congratulations you're the one, mr_mets was going to get it but he isn't on enough at ALL. You are mature, on enough...." I'm having a hard time remembering but basically I had gotten it, I was mod. I began immediately helping players and banning the bad ones. I couldn't do an admins job like the map most of you are used to because I simply didn't have the power. During mod me and cheesy's friendship grew TREMENDOUSLY in around a week because navy gave cheesy builder randomly(after seeing cheesy's cute little plot) after about a week of me being mod. This next week Cheesy and I were the bf's. Cheesy I remember teleporting him to the top of a tower and a person named "anged_wards" because he stole someones diamonds. I flew him out in the wilderness and /killed him. He thought a mob had killed him or something he was a dam noob and a half, didn't do much. It couldn't have been no time at all but before I knew it, after conversing with navy(I THINK) Cheesy and I were both Mods with a purpose.(Also Keep in mind I joined a month before cheesy so all the earlier stuff was just a month long period, yea really) Soon we was doing tons of stuff together, we had our own shops next to eachother after he said "try it" so I took anged_wards shop the noob didnt even notice he never was on. Fast forward, the map had crashed and burned, it was gone. Devasted, we stayed on a temp map that had no plugins and pvp. cheesy and I seperated from asmith navy and fludge. We did stuff for a while I killed some players lol I got called a "demon" by jesterthecool after I killed him and his buddy and burnt their base down XD. Fast forward to when I got admin. Expecting something on the temp map we switched ip's and the old town was there, except just picker and I. He asked if I could be trusted, took me a second but I said yes (so and so yadda yadda yadda) All the work before I had a shop was gone but cheesy and I were both fucking thrilled to be admin. I didn't even finish making my crazy ass shop like I had on the 2nd before last map and it was gone again, forget it that was gone. Back to a shit temp map I did absolutely nothing on because what was the point? Well, after some time we got started. Each admin+ got to make their own town, I went to the desert and made a square walled sandstone themed and i'll admit learning about regioning wasn't too hard cheesy told me how. I had a big ass shop next to 3 all ready built large houses and in front a lot of plots. well, sadly none of these pretty much got used because it wasn't long before POOF, server dead, start again. This time was stupid as fuck. Picker made us do the spawn 100% LEGIT meaning go mine stuff. it wasn't long before that shit got stupid as hell and we went off to make another spawn. In this map we had jobs, and pvp outside of cities, which there was just one. Picker didnt really come on as much, we got a little worried. The town however looked great and I made a killer quartz house (11by11 plots :3). I may have been one of the first to use quartz nicely on the server. But rest assured, the map went poof . My theory and a very popular one is picker seen "spawn" had been griefed and we gave up (because we tnt'd it to shit) and he deleted the map, but he said it was an error....who knows lol.This is where it gets good, we start again i'm kinda losing hope and thinking of quitting when I seen it had happend but when I returned a day later progress had been made. Yes, on the 2nd to last map when I made my skycity at the end-ish of those days. So we got on it, and it turned out, we were doing something right because we had 150+ diamonds on pmc . That map was one of the best, if only we didn't have to get rid of it because it was dying the connection just wasn't too good anymore. Many things went down on that map and I would love to talk about them but I think you guys know . Now, ready for the change we made the spawn in the sky this time around. Thats all of the things really I wanted to get off my mind, of course more stuff happend during the year but its hard remembering them well enough to put them into words.
