All the rumors about a possible i.p are true. FINALLY i get a flashdrive that allows me to switch the server files between the two machines. So this will be hard to explain but i will try my best. The SURVIVAL map will be on the CREATIVE MAP'S I.P Adress and the CREATIVE I.P will be the NEW SURVIVAL I.P. Makes sence right?
People are concerned about a new map. But i can promise you that there will not be a new map or a really far rollback. I will switch the two files on Friday. The server will end on Friday at 6:45 AM so anything that happened before Friday at 6:45 AM will be saved and that will be the starting point of the map on the other ip adress.
Creative will be down all weekend until Tuesday. Like anyone cares.. LOL. but seriously, it will be down. Survival will be down until 5:30-6:00 PM when we start it for the first time! I will have creative up, but survival wont be up until 5:30 - 6:00 PM on Friday.
This ip switch will be very beneficial to every brocraft member. The Computer that is hosting the Creative map currently is much better in performance compared to the survival pc. So this is a benefit to the Survival map users. The PC will host Survival with less lag and alot more uptime plus faster connection speeds because it is connected by an ethernet wire.
