When i loged on today i saw that the server is really lagy is something happening is it because nether is enabled Picker plz respond

theres an issue with most theminecrafthost servers. apparently we are under a "DDOS" attack and they are repairing the fixes. this happened around 4PM and it takes 2 hours to fix and its not up yet..  hopefully i get a month free. |
