as you all may already know, our server has been up for quite some time. Most of our players are disappearing due to lag (being upgraded soon) and they need places to go that don't cause so much lag. I have came up with a solution that may solve the problem entirely without needing an upgrade. First we would scatter shop plots around so one particular spot will not have so much lag. players can go to a warp board that has warpsigns for every shop. scattered shops will reduce lag and further improve the hard running plugin.
once we find a way to improve game performance, admins and above can start to prepare their cities and towns. I have created some guidelines that EVERYONE must follow in creating a city. Enjoy.
Admins, you may start the construction of your city, but for when it can open is my decision, I discussed this with Big a few weeks ago. My plan is to sort of stuff everyone together in Brocraft city, then spread everyone out all at once, This could be helpful for bringing the community close for a shit period of time. As for the opening of city dates, I'd say 2-3 weeks. With this rule, it will also make admins not rush to complete their city, Cities in general need to be nicely made for they are an addition to the Brocraft server.
Also as for the 7 day of inactivity a plot gets sold, that is a bit too sharp, if possible, i'd say we should change it to 3 weeks. (21 days) For school is back up and some players don't always have the time for Minecraft.
1. No more than 35+ plots that are 35x35 wide. Even if your town's plots are smaller than 35x35, you will still need to follow the no more than 35+ plots guideline. This guarantees a fairness in plot sizes for every town.
2. Properties that have been abandoned or forgotten may be claimed after 7 days after the plot owner has not been online. To check this, do a /region info and then remember the user's name. then do /seen [username]. it will tell you the last time a player has been online. Properties may be put up for auction or sale at the city owner's expense.
3. No shops permitted in any town. This sets an unfairness to any other player's city. It will be considered advertising of the plot.
4. If a city is entirely forgotten, it will be sold at the server owner - co-owner's expense. forgotten cities can be available for purchase for mods and above. As rare as they are, you should not need to worry about this.[/font]
